Valerie's Song
Why did she have to go
So young I just don't know why
Things happen half the time
Without reason without rhyme
Lovely, sweet young woman
Daughter, wife and mother
Makes no sense to me
I just have to believe
She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels
By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees
And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waiting
And I know she's smiling saying
Don't worry 'bout me
Loved ones she left behind
Just trying to survive
And understand the why
Feeling so lost inside
Anger shot straight at God
Then asking for His love
Empty with disbelief
Just hoping that maybe
It's hard to say goodbye
Her picture in my mind
Will always be of times I'll cherish
And I won't cry 'cause
Don't worry 'bout me
Don`t worry 'bout me

I want to let you know that I am coping. I know nothing will bring you back. I know I will survive. I will survive because I have a family of my own that I have to take care of. Events and moments like these test your faith and your sanity. Everything in my body wants to know you are there looking over me, seeing your newest grandaughter laughing at Papa, Seeing your daughter moving back home, looking for jobs, your son, getting a new job, finding out he is having a daughter, asking his girlfriend to marry him. seeing your grandson asking why his daddy's crying, not knowing the cause, seeing your family get together and laugh and enjoy each others company. You have made me who I am. I am honored and humbled to know what you have done to create and hold together such an amazing family. I am always thinking about you, I dont know if that will ever go away. I never thought it would be this hard. I am angry, I am depressed, I am sad, I am confused... I am excited, I am joyed, I am happy...looking forward to my new adventures in life... I hope you are there watching and enjoying the show!
Forever and always you will be my Valentine. Always, Your son, Kenneypoo
